Before Mr. T.W.H. Hosegood at the Marine Court this morning. Siu Lun, the steersman of a trading junk was charged with failing to exhibit the regulation lights whilst ander way in the Central Fairway. Defendant pleaded guilty and was hned $10 with the alternative of 10 days' hurd labour.

The cook 'of the vessel was alleged to have had 18 bottles, while the storekeeper was enid to have had 192 bottles. Both were remanded till 10-marrow morning for the wine to he analysed.

During a football match at King Park on Saturday, spectator had his tobacco pouch stolen from his pocket by another spectator, A Chinese detective who witnessed the incident arrest- ed the offender and this morning brought him before Mr. T, S. Whyte Smith at the Kowloon Magistracy, when sentence of threo months' hard labour was Imposed.
