New York gave Mr. Ramsay MacDonald a wonderful welcome on his recent visit to the United States. Our pic ture shows the brilliant procession to the City Hall, where tho Freedom was conferred upon the Prime Minister.

When Mr. Ramsay, MacDonald celebrated his 63rd birthS day in New York one of his visitors was Mr. Winston Churchill Both Insisted it was just a social call.

The Premier and his daughter, Miss Ishbol, shown at Philadelphia, where he gave à luncheon to the doctors wl a attended him during his illness in 1927. Behind the Premier are his honoured guests.
