In order to benefit' its staff and officers, the Bureau of Public Safety is reported to have recently made preparations for organizing'a. Gen«. eral Stores to enter to police members.
The following rules have been suggested to govern the formation of the Canteen':
1. A Preparatory Office for the Canteen is to be satablished hy order of the Head of the Bureau.
9. An officer to be appointed by Head of the Bureau to take charge of the work for organizing the Canteen,
3. A staff to be appointed by the Bureau for conducting the Canteen. 4. A number of book-keepers to be engaged and books for keeping the accounts of the Canteen to be pro- vided.
5. None of the staff except the book-keeper wilt draw any salary but remuneration on a small seale may be given.
