A young English rider, Mr. Graham Waler, of Enfield, Middle- res, riding a 499 e.c. Rudge. won the 600 ce. class in the Ulster Motor Cycle Grand Prix races at! an average speed of 80.63 miles an hour.
This speed is unbeaten in the history of motor-cyclę road racing, L. H. Davenport (Wolverhamp ton), on a,346 c.r. A.J.S., secured the prize for the first rider to finish, and also won the Grand) Prix for muchines up to 850-c.c, at. 76.23 miles an hour.
