trouble Was caused by hurried and irregular
meals," says Mr. William Harring ton, of No. 301 South Crouse Avenue, Syracuse, N. "My atomach was in a bad condition, was very nervous and had pains that would keep me rolling and tossing all night. I had a poor appetite, sour stomach and palus in the small of my back.
"Through reading about Dr. Williams' Pink Pills I was led to give them a trial. Before I had Bnished the second bottle I began to feel better and the pains wore relieved. I eat well now and digest my food, and I sleep well. I think Dr. Williams' Pink Pills are a very reliable medicine. In con- nection with the pilla I used the little laxative, Pinkettes, one of the best romedies for constipation I have found.”

OPEN AIR CONCERT AT K.F.C.
GIFT TO MR. SPARY DURING
EXCELLENT SHOW.
A moon-lit night with a starry aky, good music and, last but not least, the quick way in which "the audience responded to the jokes of the humorists, all contributed to the success of the open-air concert of the Kowloon Football Club on Saturday evening.
Despite the many counter-at- tractions-the V. R. G. night fete and the show at the Theatre Royal -there was a large attendance of members of the Club and their friends, who, to show their appre clation, enthusiastically applauded every one of the 12 items on the programme. Not only did they do that, but they also called for co- cores and more encores, which the artistes good-naturedly gave.

Helves well and it would be difficult to pick out any one for special mention. Messrs. Oscar Eager, V. C. Labrum and Dick Barty "put it across" with their comic songs and stories, keeping. the audience in hysterics all the time that they were on the stage.
After young Miss Hynes had sung "A Desert Song," the audience were reluctant to let her go and she had to sing again. She was accompanied on the piano by her sister. The Misses Flo and Nellie Field were also well-received, while Mr. and Mrs. G. McLeod success- fully appeared on no fewer than three occasions.
Mr. H. Musson, with his banjo |

Prior to the last item before the interval, Mr. G. A. Walker, the President of the Kowloon" Football Club, announced that he had pleasant duty to perform. He was requested, he said, to present a gold watch to Mr. A..Spary, one of the football players of the Kowloon F: C., not for his prowess in the football field, but for saving the life of Mr. MacKintosh, a visitor to the Colony, on August 31.
