EVAPORATED MILK
LTARE ANGAT BES CONGRELE
Of course if a rice pudding is pale blue in colour and the rice is all swimming round, people will get up from the table and think unjust things about rice puddings. But if your rice pudding is made with Milkmaid Evaporated Milk it will be creamy in colour-nelihër too thick nor too thin-and people who do not usually like rice pudding will eat it rather eagerly.
Milkmaid Evaporated Milk is pure country milk con- centrated to the consistency of cream. It improves all milk puddings 100%.

CHINESE EASILY DEFEAT
UNITED SERVICES.
With a brillant forward, line, probably the best the whole of China could muster, doing duty for the Chinese, it was not surprising | that the United Services were heavily defented in Saturday's charity match on behalf of the Tung Wah Eastern Hospital.'
As a matter of fact, it took the Chinese forwards some little time to get the measure of the opposi tion, but when they had goals came
• monotonous with almost gularity, and they won by seven goals to two, after an interval lead of 1.0.
re-
The Services were prominent in the early stages and Stock was pre- Bented by Kernick with a good scoring opportunity. Chow In-in was tested, but made an easy clear- ance. Suen Kam-shun opened the scoring about twenty-five minutes from the start.
In the second half, Reeves and Oliver, the Services backs, found themselves out-paced and outman- inside- oeuvred by the Chinese forwards, who were continuously dangerous as a result of clever close passing. Suen scored again, and further goals came from Li Wai-tong (2), Fung King-cheong, Rayson and Tso Kwai-sing (2). and Stock netted for the Services, the former getting the third goal and the latter the last of the match.
The Services put up a better score exhibition than the final would suggest, but the hard work of a sound half-back line could not compensate for certain obvious de- ficiencies in the rear division.
The forwards were good in pat- ches, the approach work being well. considered and the shooting, on the whole, poor. Kernick's unor- thodox methods kept the 'Chinese and defenders tenterhooks Stock also did well. The wingers were not middling, the bali with their usual accuracy.
