COACHES DERAILED.
MISHAP CLOSE TO KOWLOON
RAILWAY STATION.
When the Kowloon-Canton after- noon express was a short distance out of Kowloon Station yesterday, about 3.20, three coaches became derailed, causing a certain amount of alarm to the passengers. The ex- press was delayed for almost in hour..
Immediately after the accident, three" other coaches were brought from the station, and the passengers of the derailed coaches were subsequently transferred to these. It is understood that apart from slight shock, none of the passengers was hurt.
Consequent on the derailment, several trains scheduled to ar rive at Kowloon yesterday after- noon were delayed, and late last night workmen were still engaged on getting the derailed coaches back in position.
