The motorist who makes the com- plaint was desirous of passing ahead of a slow moving car driven by a foreign resident, and as the usual signal to pass was not given, the rear driver awaited a favourable op portunity, when the road was clear, straight and wide, and then ne welerated to pass. In Hongkong, and throughout China, the "Baby Austin" has gained a wide mensure, of popa- farity, and it must be said that the mechanical excellence of these sturdy little vehicles has built up an enviable reputation.
