ANOTHER VICTIM OF

TYPHOID FEVER.

The death occurred at o'clock yesterday morning at the Kowloon Hospital of. Mr. Thomas Pullard, representative of the North East Marine and Engineer- Jag and Shipbuilding Company.

Mr. Pollard had been' In bospital for about a week suffer- ing from tyghold fever, and his donth is particularly and from the fact that is about ten days time he was to have left for home, the mission which brought him hore being about fulfilled.

Mr. Pollard came from South Shields, England, especially to superintend the repairs that are being done to the engines of the Raby Castle. now in Kowloon Docks. These engines were built by the company he represents, ! and he himself had a part in thelr construction.

The deceased was a man of 45 years of age, of a cheerful dis- position and was well liked by all he came in contact with, having made a large circle of friends during the three months he had been in the Colony. He come of a well known cricketing family. He leaves a wife and three sons,
