The Kaga Maru left here for Japan yesterday, those on board including Mr. Y, Murakami. Inte) Consul-General for Japan in Hong- kong. Mr. Murakami has just been appointed Consul-General for Japan at Hamburg but is now on furlough.
The local Japanese Consulate is now under the charge of the Vice- Consul, Mr. Y. Nonomura, who wil net as Consul-General until one has been appointed for Hong- kong.
