"SOUTH CHINA.”

HOW THE ASSOCIATION CAME

TO BE FORMED,

dt. Iji Kwai Chung writes to us as follows:

Sir-In his address at the opening coremony of the Bathing Shed of the South China Athletic Association on Saturday last, Mr. Li Yau Tsun, the President of the Association, said that the South China Athletle, Association was formed in 1910 and so on. This is not correct as the Association WAR founded in Decomber, 1912, as can be seen in my book "Soccer in China,” Page 20. A short history is also given in page 27 and 28 of how the name "South China" had been derived, The Association was first known as "The South China Recreation Club," later altered to "The South Chinh Athletic Club" and agath amended to Its pronent Litio (see my book page |31)-Youro, etc,

The Nanking Gantes of 1010 had nads the Southern Chinese boys frightfully keen. Theirs had been a victorious return for many honours had been won, including the Football Championship of China. The highly successful nature of the trip and the victories in the field, kindled a desire in the hearts of some of the members of the team and a number of other schoolboys to continue active partici: pation in sport. If baby is under weight it is probable that he is not digesting the food which he gots. "Lactogen" is famous among doctors and nurses for the case with which the most delicate baby can digest it. You can't ask a' baby how he is or how he feels. But there are certain signs, He should be content to lie on his back. He should sleep well. Above all, overy week he should put on a little weight.

All these signs have followed, one after the other, in thousands of troubled, fretful babies who have been put by their wise mothers on "Lactogen.

And the reason why "Lactogen" succeeds often when everything else has failed, is simply this. It is pure rich farm milk-every drop nourish ment-but-and this is the point- it does not form hard lumps in the stomach.

Instead it forms light flakes and is therefore so digestible that any baby can take it and profit from it and thrive on it.
