Captain G.H.R. Abbott, of the K.O.S. Borderers, was summoned before Mr. E.W. Hamilton, at the Central Police Court this morning, In respect of a number of offences against the traffe regulations, com mitted in Hollywood Road.

The offences cited were, firstly, that defendant, being only a learn er-driver and given a modified licence na auch, was found driving private car No. 271 without being accompanied by a fully qualified and licensed driver; secondly, that he had not his ficence with him and failed to produce it when requested by a constable; and, thirdly, that he was found driving in a thorough fire which was outside the arca defined in his learner's licence.
