The problem of water shortage in Hongkong again figured pro- minently at the monthly meeting of the Chinese General Chambar of Commerce yesterday afternoon, when the Secretary, Mr. Chen Heung-pak, read, no fewer than nino letters addressed to him by various Chinese trade associations and guilds, including those of The Vegetable and Fruit Hawkers.
