Million Dollars a Year. Joo Saunders, Vice-President of the system, in a letter to the Chrysler Sales Corporation, says: "The fact that we have purchased during the past year one million dollars worth of Chryslers, that we use more Chryslers than any other make, and that we are con- tinuously adding more Chryslers than all other makes combined, should be complete evidence that we believe Chrysler delivers the most antiafactory and economien transportation.

"Our accurate and standardized cost accounting methods have ro- flected 11 per cent greater mile- age par gallon of fuel for chrys- lers, and also a reduction in maintenance cost. Our CUA- tomers, as well as we, are highly plensed with the beauty, per- formance, ense of handling and riding, dependability, safety and long life of Chrysler. In fact, in our business, the economy of operation would be of no avail without sustained popularity of the car with the general public.

The following day the second trial was held with a fully-equip ped Studebaker Dictator Sedan which covered 500.3 miles at an average speed of 60.4 miles por hour, equivalent to 500 miles in 497 minutes.

A Studebaker President Eight Sedan, fully equipped, was select- ed for the third test. The Preal- dent travelled 503 milos at an average speed of 71.2 miles per hour. The test was completed on a wet track in blinding rain.

The British trials are all the more remarkable since each was made with an inclosed model. They are but a fow of many bril- liant performance achievements made by Studebaker cars in the. last year,

As a result of the great per- formance achievements of Stude- baker 'cars Studebaker now holds every official American record for fully equipped stock cars, 11 world, 23 International and official Australian records speed and endurance...
