The suggestion of the Pan Ger man Lokalansolger" that the re- parations problem will be settled on the basis of 35 annuities with a total debt amount of 25 to 85 thou- sand mafilion marks (51,250,000,000 to £1,750,000,000) aum which the paper describes as "perfectly insupportable and beyond the capacities of the Reich," though lower than suggestions made so far on the Allled side--is dismiss- ed as palpable propagands.
There is as yet no authentic in- dication of definite figures, but 1 learn from an excellent source that the difference between Ger many's and her creditors' views là: likely to be very wide.
Moreover, the division of the an nuities into sections is not a Ger man proposal, but, as described in the Morning Post of Friday,la being studied by the Five, while the further refinement of the an-: nuities, consisting of two sections, one fixed and the other sub-dividua again into payments in specío and payments in kind and subject to a consultative transfer committee, is under consideration of the groups emanating from them.
