The 1905 meet tore the record table into pieces, Arthur C. Me- Donald, with a Napier, cutting Vanderbilt's speed to a mile in 34 4-5 seconds. McDonald also did a kilometer in 23 seconds, while H, W. Fletcher, driving a De Duetrich, went 100 miles in 1 hour, 18 minutca, 24 seconds. Ten records were made in all.

From 1907 on until after the war few new records were made.
