DISTRIBUTION AT THE DIOCESAN GIRLS' SCHOOL. '

The annual prize distribution of the Diocesan Girls' School took place yesterday, 'Mr. W. W. Hornell, Vice Chancellor of the University, giving away the prizes and certificates to the successful students. In doing ss, Mr. Hornet made reference to, the wonderful life. one could lead In Hongkong. and exhorted the students of tho Diocesan School to do their utmost to make their school life as happy as possible. The report congratulated Phylla Anderson on winning the S.P.C.A. eup, awarded to Girl Guides for the best essay on n subject set by the Society. TRIAL OF ANNESTED PERSONS CONTINUED.

The trial of the five mon and one woman charged in connexion, with the robbery in High Street was continued at the Central Magis- tracy before Mr. E. W. Hamilton yesterday afternoon.
