It was stated by the Chairman
(Mr. E. M. Satisfactory profits, enabling dividends totalling 60 cents per share to be paid, were reported, and the Chairman explained that during the year the Company dis- posed of a small strip of land form- ing part of the Cul-de-sac on the north-west boundary of the Ex- change Building site at the rate of $40 per square foot, subject to ense- ments and a restrictive covenant in respect of the development there- of.

and accounts as presented, taken in conjunction with the amplifying remarks thereon appearing in the Directors' report, show comprehen- sively the financial position of the Company as on 31st December, 1928, and in these circumstances there is no need for me to enter into detailed explanation in connex- lan therewith, the exception of one Item appearing in the balance sheet under the heading "Right of Way and Easementa.”
