The Reception.

After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, "Multnomah," May Road. The young couple stood before a trellis of foliage at one end of the spacious drawing room which, had been transformad into a garden of parti-coloured Spring blossoms, the rose tinted antirrhinums mingling their hues with the deeper toned coral of the fragrant stocka 'and the sky and sapphire blues of the larkapur; a colour motif carried out in the window boxca which marked the French windows opening on to the long verandahs. The dining room' furthered the motif of early Spring, gay, in its pastel tinted phlox and larkspur; the table, laid with a cloth of Point de Véniso, lighted by white candles, was cen- tred by a glistening wedding cake duly cut by the brido amidat many toasts and good wishes, the health of the brido and, groom, boing, proposed by Mr. F. A generous display of wedding gifta occupied part of the upper floor of the house, the treasure shops of the Orient as well as the marts of English silver and glans having been visited by the many friends of the bride and groom. The Dunbars are prominent, and
