Twelve cases in which various boat masters and mistressca were charged with the same offence dealt with by the Hon. Commdr. G. F. Hole, R.N., ut the Marine Court this morning.
The defendants were charged with mooring their boats in the Causeway Bay shelter without a permit from the Harbour Master. Only eleven were present when Comindr. Hole Bat and the ball $10 of.. the absent defendant was estreated.
Two of the defendants were additionally charged with failing to stop when called upon to do so by a police officer. Defendants pleaded guilty to both charges and were fined $6 with the alternative of five days' imprisonment on the first count and $10 or ten days in the second charge.
