A disastrous fire took place at Swałow on Friday last, several million dollars worth of damage being done. The fire started in a matshed and eventually involved u timber yurd, kerosene ́ godown and miany houses,
This old lady celebrated her 101st. birthday at Kowloon Tong on Sunday. last. She is Mrs. Lai, mother of Mr. Lai Chark- tong. There were four genera-" tions of descendents present.
A kerosene godown was gutted in the fire which took place at Swalow on Friday last. Drums of oil explode!
