HOPE OF STARTING IN NEAR FUTURE.
It is learnt that Mr. Koo Ylu-Eai,: lately Director of the No. 2 Muni- tion Factory, has been selected by Marshal Li Chat-sum to proceed to Franco to study methods of manu- facturing automobiles, since, with the rapid progress now being made in the opening of highways, nuto mobiles will be needed in China in ever-increasing numbers.
It is planned, says the Canton Gazette, to open a factor for the production of motor cars locally some time in the future, when Mr. Koo returns. This proposed step is being very carefully considered from all angles, and so far has re- celved enthusiastic support from those who have been consulted on the matter.
The opening of such a factory will be beneficial in two ways. It 2-You can change only one will enable employment to be given to a great number of mechanics, letter at a time.
