In response to the Prince of Wales broadcast appeal, Lady Houston has given £80,000 and Lord Rothermere £26,000.

These amounts have been handed to the Lord Mayor's fund and the Government will give an equivalent Bum in accordance with Mr. Baldwin's statement on December 17.--Reuter.
