The Lai Wah Cup.

As the Army team for the Lait Wah Cap final to-morrow has not come to hand at the time of writ- ing, it may seem that the officials are finding some difficulty in de- ciding who shall fill the all- important poaltion of centre-half. With Sima here. it was filled for them; without him, it is difficult' to judge between the rival merfis of Davey, of the Borderers, and Hill, of the Queen's. Apart from this position, the display of the Army team against the Navy was good enough to make one reluctant to meddle with it too much, though Fletcher, the goalkeeper, may be, and Barclay, may have to be, re placed.

Reeves has claims to the leader- ship, and if he is given it, and shows his true form, not that of Wednesday, I fancy the Army w!!! manage to get through with a win. The Chinese will have to play a good deal above the form in the match against the Civilians to auc- ceed again, though they certainly have a very strong side on paper.

Kowloon at Home.

Kowloon and the Police meet to- morrow in the only Senior League fixture, the match having been brought forward from December 29th. The Police are playing with much determination just now and their recent successes seem to in- dicate that they will be too good for the mainlanders.

Kowloon, however, are still a side to reckoned with to some extent, and a surprise victory must not be put beyond them.. Both defences are pretty sound, the Police having the better reputation. It should provide a keen game, with the odds Alightly in favour of the Police. Kowloon are experimenting by playing Miles at centre-forward,

Junior Division.

There is no match of outstanding interest in the Junior Division of he League. The Queen's should take two points from Eastern F. C. with comfortable case, tho Nayy seem to be on a good thing, the Chinese Athletic are marked for a win, while the Recreio and Kowloon may gain one point each at the ex-. pense of military rivals. Kowloon Itenerves have arranged to play at bome.

The following have been select- ed to represent the Kowloon 1st XI:-Angua; Guest, Pile; Hedley, McKelvie, Easterbrook; Clemo, Spary, Miles, Hayes and Baldwin,' Reserve:King,
