CHINESE ATHLETIC AT THE RECREIO GROUND.

CLUB-NAVY PUZZLE.

[By "Wanderer."]

After a week's respite, the Senior League resumes activity to- morrow with a full programme of matches, and some very close games are to be expected. The League, so far, has managed to keep pace more or less with its heavy fixture lists, though even Έχου now it is difficult to see gorious congestion at the end of the season is to be avoided.

Presumably it la a question of waiting till the time comes.

The only event of importance since laat week was the defeat of the K.O.S.B. Reserves by the Queen's Royal Regiment. This will lead to much keener com- petition between the leading clubs, with the Navy, Queen's and Bor- derera the strongest aspirants.

The fixture list, together with grounds and times of kick-off, is appended:

Four O'Clock Starts.

Four o'clock starts is the order! of the day for the Senior League matches to be played to-morrow, only two of which are of outstand- ing Importance, the Queen's v. Police and the Recreio v, Chinese Athletic.

The Police brought off a per- formance of no small merit in effecting a draw with the K.O.S.B. a fortnight ago, and, after all, it Is time the Queen's run of success was checked. 1 understand that both sides are at full strength for the game, which should prove keen enough to interest. It is unfor- tunate that the only accommoda- tion for spectators is that provid
