An Interesting exhibition of work was displayed on a stall which was, maintained by the Kowloon City Home for the Blind, the many woollen garments, which were exposed for sale, having Wei Hai Wol been made by the fimates of the Cebu Home.

CORDIAL RECEPTION.
New York, Nov. 13. The State Department has re- ceived cordial replies from Peru, Chile, Uruguay and Brazil to the nole asking whether they have any objections to Mr. Hoover's visit.
The Argentine has not yet re- plied, but a number of countries not included in the projected tour, for example Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecdador, Bolivia and Cuba havo telegraphed asking Mr. Hoover to visit them.

The Chertsey bench recently ordered the destruction of an Alsatian dog which had worried sheep in the neighbourhood of Addlestone, Surrey, on Septem- ber 24. The owner, a young wo- man, Gladys Balchin, of Addica- tone, said it was a young dog. It was the first time it had Been sheep, and naturally it chased them.
