Senhor Bianchi informed the interviewer that he left Shanghai in a political atmosphere of the greatest cordiality and goodwill, Admiration for Hongkong, He arrived at Hongkong for the first time to-day. He is ac- quainted with Sir Cecil and Lady Clementi and appreciates the cordiality of his reception at Government House this morning. He thinks Hongkong absolutely beautiful and the climate just now ideal. Looking out of the verandal of Government House he was charmed with the beautiful scenery and was forcibly remind ed of his native place, Madeira, games. The beautiful palms, trees and tropical verdure present a serne very much like his own country, which he could not fail to admire.
