Issue of $2,000,000 Hong Kong Currency six per cent. Bonds to Bearer being the remainder of the $5,000,000 ́Loan -authorized --by the Public Works Loan Ordinance, 1927-
The proceeds of the Loan will be applied to the purposoH specified in the Schedule.
The principai and Interest of the Loan are guaranteed by the Government of Hong Kong and are securod by the revenue of the Colony.
Price of issue--103 per cent.
Interest payable-let May and lat November.
First Coupon for full six months interest payable-1st May, 1929. Principal repayable at par-on 1st November, 1998, or, at the option of the Government of Hong Kong, principal may be wholly or partially repaid at any time after the 31st October, 1932 by drawings of Bonds of such, denomination and to such respective tobal nominal values as the Governor may determine.
The Hong Kong & Shanghal- Banking Corporation, Hong Kong are instructed by the Government of Hong Kong to receivo subscription for the above Loan.
The Bonds will be issued in denominations of $1,000, $5,000 and $10,000, payable to Bearer with half yearly Interest coupons attached payable 1st May and lat November at the office of the Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation, Hong Kong.
Applications will be received by the Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation, Hong Kong from whom the necessary printed forms can be obtained. Such applications must be for $1,000 or aný multiple thereof and be accompanied by a deposit of 10% of tho amount applied for.
