Mr. Russ agreed but aaid that there was strong evidence that the complainant had offered $1 and he would, no doubt, have only given $1 when he arrived at Kow- loon Tong, as he had done on previous occasions.
"We never demanded payment of money," said Mr. Russ, "be- cause we never got as far as that. We never arranged terms." Mr. Russ said that no offence had been committed by the de- fondant. Even if, there had been
