The Hunters' Arms report for January to September 1928, states:
'During the season we supplied 820 tiffins, 65 dinners, 54 breakfasts, 441 teas and 58 beds.
A reduction of roughly 10% all round has been made in the price of drinks. These were very expensive last year, bat members will reatise that upkeep during the off-season hud to be covered and the Arms receives no subscriptions,
In the accounts under the heading of "Hunt Loan Account” the sum of ¦ $1,325.79 appears which represents various payments, made previous to this year on behalf of the Arms out of Hunt Funda. This, liability cun now be accepted and in time paid off. Interest is not charged thereon. It will be noticed that the valie of furniture and other effects his been written down 25%. There were no bad debts to write off.
It is hoped that the Arms will be able to sequire, at a small additional reht, the premises situated on the right hand side of the entrance oa ene approaches, and the general surround- Ings can then be greatly improved.
Thanks are due to the following for. gifts in the shape of furniture, etc.:
Commander and Mrs. Hartford, Messrs. H. R. Sturt, O. E, L. Grist," and T. G. Brayfield,
and
also to Mr."
E. M. Hazeland, for the amount of work he has put in at the Arms in the capacity of honorary architect.
The management wishes to lay stress on the importance of ordering meals before noon on Friday for the week-end. Fallura to do so results, inf tho complete disorganisation of arrangements and discomfort to all
Certain members have stated their Intcation of living at the Arms when the season opens. This regular "in-3 coma will be of great assistance to tho overhand charges.
