In reply to the Coroner witness said that since the girl's death witness understood that if he paid the mother $900 the injury would never have been held. He had consulted his solicitors and had refused to pay the money although at one time he had suggested giv- ing her $200.

The Coroner summed up at length reviewing the evidence and In conclusion informed the Jury that their only verdict was one of In returning a verdict according- suicide while of unsound mind,

The Coroner thanked the jury for their careful attention during the inquiry and sold that he would bring their services to the notice of the registrar. He agreed with their verdict.
