LORD CREWE'S CLAIM.

Paris, July 26. Lord and Lady Crews, were guests of M. Briand at luncheon to-day. In an interview with the Journal Lord Crewe expresses his sorrow at leaving the British Embassy in Paris. This senti ment, however, he states, "is a little compensated for by the pro- found satisfaction I feel in leaving the relations between our two countries so affectionate and con- fining and in auch perfect accord."
