An enquiry was held before Major C. Willson, yesterday after noon, regarding the death of a coolle who fell off a truck nt Arsenal Street, with fatal results. The mishap occurred on July 20, the victim, whose skull was broken at the base, expiring at the Go- vernment Civil Hospital two days without recovering

From the pvidence, it was shown, that the truck was proceeding' along the Praya East, returning to West Point with its chassis piled high with a number of cases con- talning Ma Yuk Sap confectionery.. One of a number of coolles who were perched on the top of the load, was jerked off his seat when the truck rounded the bend at Arsenal Street, and was fatally in- Jured through dropping on his head. The enquiry was to deter- mine the speed at which the lorry was going, and to ascertain if the driver was to be blamed for the accident in any way,

The jury returned a verdict of accidental death, with the recom mendation that high loads placed | on these vehicles be roped in or otherwise well 'secured,
