TWO CHINESE SENT TO PRISON.

"Larceny by a trick" was how a case was summed up in which two Chinese were charged, before Mr. R. E. Lindsell, this morning, with the theft of two bags of rice from a shop....

"It appears that while one of the men called at a grocer's shop to order the rice, the other waited on the water-frbut to receive it. The rice was taken on a launch
