The decision of the Shanghai Volunteer Corps to abolish the pany gun teams which have boon used for many years in drawing the Field Artillery Battery's 4.5 howitzers followed a recommendation from Major General A. E. Wardrop In place of the present teams motor traction will be used and the Muuloipal Council has already purchased ten 'Karrier.
