A message from Kansas City says that Mr. Hoover has been overwhelmingly nominated on the first ballot. Reuter's Américan Service.

Kansas City, June 15. The Republican National con Tention nominated Mr. Hoover for the Presidency on the first ballot with 837 votes against 74 for the next nearest competitor, Mr. Lowden:
