RED LITERATURE FOR FRENCH SAILORS.
FIVE ARRESTS MADE.

A number of lonely sailors on board the French cruiser "Mul- house" (ex "Stralsund"), wrote re- cently to a Paria newspaper ask- ing to be put in touch with ladies willing to correspond occasionally and to send comforts and delica- cles.
The lonely saitors received, in- stead of comforts, 30 bulky pack- ages of Communist literature, with precise instructions about Com munist propaganda.
The police have now arrested four of the lonely ones, and also the man responsible for deapatch- ing the literature, who is an old sailor, the Secretary of the Com- radeship Society,
