A case in which the Chief Justice, Sir Henry Gollan, recently remark- od that he could not be expected to wait upon the convenience of wit- nesses was recalled in the Full Court this morning when Mr. F. C. Jenkin made an application for the diamissal of a notice of motion for 6 new trial.

The case concerned a dispute over promissory notes, the plain tiffs Wong Wal-chung, trustee of the Yuo Hong Baik (in bank- ruptcy) claiming $27,231.13 from the Tai lling Wo firm and Tee Chau Tam, both of 132, Connaught Read Central. The claim was based on three promissory notes of $10,000
