FINAL SCREENINGS OF "LOVERS."

Showing for the last time at the Queen's Theatre to-day Is "Lovers," Ramon Novarro's first film sinco "Ben-Hur." A romance of modern Spain, "Lovera" is unique in that it has no conven- tional villain, the place of the villain being taken by the Invisi- ble tongues of scandal which blight lives and wreck souls. The plot is developed with rare from one dramistic. Intensity

version will be the screen

ΟΣ William J. Locke's brilliant novel The "The Side Show of Life." leading playera are Ernest Tor- rence and Anna Q. Nilsson. Tho story begins with Ernest Torrence as an English clown in a French cireus and Anna Q. Nilsson a lady of high family who falls in love with him. The coming of war brings about many changes in the lives of these two, the clown ris Ing to the rank of brigadier gen- eral. The climax is distinctly unusual and-not a little dramatic. The photography is excellent, there being a number of scenes of an English country nunsion with its gardens and lawns.
