DEATH OF WELL-KNOWN CHINA COASTER'

The death of Captain Edwin Monkman, in London, on February 13, will be deeply regretted by a large circle of friends and a quaintances of the late captain on the Chins coast, where 20 years of his life were spent in the sor- vice of the China Navigation Company.
