Remedios Wins Kowloon Club Championship.
The Championship of the Kowlcon Golf Club was played at Kowloon City yesterday, the two contestants being F. E. Remédios and J. D. Thom- son. The former after a very close merning round, won by seven up and five to play.
Remedios was steady throughout, whereas his opponent, who had played consistently in the morning, gave n rather indifferent display in the after-"
on and lost on the 31st green. The first eighteen holes were evenly cantested as can be judged. by the fact that at no time was citliór player more than one hole up, on his op ponent. The golf was excellent and often reached a high standard. At- Ler the first eighteen holes Remedios turned one up, having finished the round in 75, Thomson was only two atrokes behind doing, the first round in 77.
After winning the first hole in the afternoon, thus making matters square again, Thomsen lost the next five. He fell off greatly after the tiffin interval and lost the match with five more holes to play.
