A new record in speed was written when Princess. Xonia of Greece and her young husband, William B. Leeds, tried out their torpedo speedboat," Fan Tail" on Long Island Sound, With 28 persons on board, the unique 38-foot vessel did 63 miles on hour. The upper photo shows the boat cutting the water, below, left to right, are Leads, Johannes Plum, and the Princess. Plum designed the vessel, from the storn of which a fish-like tail projects.
