An Inquiry was held yesterday by Mr. R. E. Lindsell into the death of a Chinese woman who jumped through a window at No. 7A Cross Street on October 81, in the course of a police raid.

Giving evidence, Inspector Bloor, Brothel Inspector, said that he visited "the house in question at 9.30 p.m. on October 31 by virtue of an authority which he held, issued by the Secretariat for Chinese Affairs. He said that on entering the house he went to the rear cubicle, where he saw two
