Driver Morris's evidence was given last week and was to the effect that he was travelling along Nathan Road in the direction of the Star Ferry. He was riding a motor cycle and, on nearing the Duro Carage, the defendant's lorry, which was in front, turned to proceed up the incline to Whit- field Barracks. No signal was given and Driver Morris had to swerve suddenly to the left but could not avoid colliding with the rear of the lorry.
