It is reported fro mAlbania that a quantity of mysterious gold coins have come into circulation,

that no one has been able to dis- cover where they were milnted or who distributed them. The coins, which are identical in value with the French twenty-franc Napoleon, bear the portait of the Albanian hero, Skander Bey, on one side, and the Lion of Venice on the other. The Minister of Finance hna' issued a circular declaring the coins illegal payment, and the National Bank! refuses to deal in them.
