At Christ's Church. Sutton, Lt. Col. J Forbes Robertson, V. C, D SO, M.C., of the Gordon Highlanders, was married to Miss H Forster, R.R.C, youngest daughter of Sir R. G.. Forster, Bt. The bridegroom was awarded the V. C. for conspicuous bravery in commanding his Battalion during heavy fighting. Our photo shows the bride and bride- groom under an archway of swords held by officers of the bridegroom's regiment.
