Ross, for somo years a missionary in China, was found dead on St. Martin's CT, Guernsey, where he was deputizing on the Wesleyan Circuit Mr. Ross, who was the son of a Wesleyan minister, was about 40 years of age. He was educated at Kingswood School, Bath, and afterwards graduated at Cambridge. Ho en- tered the Wesleyan ministry in 1919, and immediately went out under
the Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society to China. He was first on the staff of the Wesley College, Wachang, and on the inundation of tho Central China University, Wuchang, three years ago, he was transferred to this institution.
