Formed some. six months ago with a membership of 40, the Por- tuguese Rifle Club, which was or- ganised in connexion with the Portuguese Company of the Hong- kong Volunteer Defence Corps, is going ahead and can now claim a membership of 80. Canvassing for members is still going on, how ever, the total membership hoped for being in the region of 100.
