Mrs. C. Cabral and the three Misses Cabral are visitors from Macao passing through on their way for Pukhoi. Mrs. Cabral, with her daughters is joining her husband, Mr. Carlos Cabral, who In the Acting Commissioner of Customs at Pakhoi. Before Mrs. Cabral left Macno she and the Misses Cabral were entertained to a farewell dinner at Government House on Friday evening.

Among the large number of friends who were at the wharf to bid "goodbye to the Cabrals when they embarked on the "Sul An" on Saturday afternoon for Hongkong, were H. E. the Governor, Senhor Tamagnini Barbosa, accompanied by his A.D.C., and Mile. Barbosa, Mme. Barbosa being unable to bo present through indisposition. The Governor of. Macao is an la- timate friend of Mr. Carlos Cabral. Mr. F. W. Carey, the Macao Com missioner of Customs, and Mrs. Carey were also at the wharf to wish Mrs. Cabral and family bon voyage. Our, Macac visitors at- tended the Cameronian open-air concert at the Lee Gardens on Saturday evening, and thoroughly enjoyed the varied programme of excellent music provided by the regimental band. Sunday after- noon was spent on the bench at Repulse Bay.

Mr. F. Fires da Rocha, first naval lieutenant, attached to the Harbour Department, and Mrs, da Rocha, were also the guests of the Governor of Macao at the farewe!! dinner on Friday last. Mr. and Mrs. Rocha are proceeding to Por tugal from Hongkong on home leave on Tuesday next; Mr. Rocha mel with a serious accident 14 while on duty at Macan recently and is proceeding to Lisbon on medical recommendation.
