Macao, July 15. The death is announced of Mr. Loo Lim-yok this evening at half past eight.

'Mr. Loo Lim-yo's was a well known and highly respected resi-! dent of the Portuguese Colony and one of the organisers of the Macao Race Club. He was a man of considerable wealth inherited from his father, the late Mr. Loo Kau.

At a meeting of residents of Re- pulse Bay and district held at the residence of Mr. E. R. Childe oir! Thursday evening, it was decided to form an Association to be call. ed the Repulse Bay and District Residents' Association, for the general betterment of canditions; of residence in this district in- cluding Deep Water Bay and Tai-1 tam Bay, in which area there is a growing number of residents.

Alr. Childe was appointed Honorary Secretary, and it was decided that he take immediate steps on behalf of all residents for the improvement of sanitary and general conditions in the aeighbourhood.
